M is for Mug Cake in a Minute Recipe

M is for Mug Cake in a Minute Recipe.

Dessert desires come on quickly. Who has time to make an entire cake on such occasions? More to the point, who wants to have a big cake’s worth of temptations for multiple days? You can satisfy your sweet tooth right away without being haunted by leftover sweets the next morning.

It’s easy with this Mug Cake in a Minute.

First, pick up the supplies and ingredients to make your Mug Cake in a Minute mix.

Bundt, pudding-filled, and sponge cake mixes tend not to work as well as regular cake mixes for this recipe.

Next, prepare the Mug Cake in a Minute mix.

Open both boxes, and pour the two cake mixes into the plastic container or bag. Seal it tightly, and shake it until the two mixes are thoroughly blended.  Then store it until you’re ready to use it.

Finally, when cravings strike, microwave your own Mug Cake in a Minute.

Grab a large microwaveable coffee mug or a glass bowl. (Do not use metal or non-microwave-safe ceramics, of course.)

Scoop out three tablespoonfuls of the dry Mug Cake in a Minute mix, and drop them into the mug. (Do not grease the mug.) Add two tablespoons of lukewarm water, and stir the mixture well.

Microwave on high for one minute. Watch it puff up into a delicious dessert for one!

Add whipped cream. Garnish with chocolate chips, shredded coconut, fresh fruit, nuts, or sweet sprinkles. And enjoy.

Recipe may be doubled, tripled, or multiplied. However, for best results, microwave each portion individually.

This mug cake really does take a minute to make, and it’s marvelous to munch. In fact, one might say it is heavenly. After all, it is made with angel food cake.
