Homichlophobia: Fearsome phobias from A to Z

I feel a little foggy sometimes, but that’s no cause for concern. However, when a real fog fills the environment, some folks are truly terrified by it.

Homichlophobia is the fear of fog.

It’s not the fear of walking around in a fog, so to speak. Lots of us do that from time to time.

Nope. Homichlophobia is a terror of the dim, misty fog that may fill the world during a weather change. It’s a fear of fog emitted from special-effects machines during certain popular concerts and theatrical presentations. It’s a leeriness of fog displayed in scary movie scenes.

Maybe some people just wanna see everything more clearly. I can’t say I blame ‘em.
