F is for Festival and Fair Foods
Summer is on the way, and that means folks will soon be
making their way to the midways of county and state fairgrounds for super
celebrations.
Of course, county and state fairs mean many things.
To
plenty of people, these events offer animal interactions, live music and entertainment,
thrill rides, F-H displays, interesting new product demonstrations, souvenir
shopping, and fair foods.
What’s your favorite fair food?
Which special indulgences tempt you the most?
Do you look
forward to barbecued ribs, bratwursts, buttery corn-on-the-cob,
chocolate-coated bacon, corn dogs, cotton candy, cream puffs, deep-fried cheese
curds, frozen lemonade, funnel cakes, ice cream, nachos, pizza, popcorn, snow
cones, soft pretzels, walking tacos, or another tasty surprise from the
concession stands or wagons?
Here’s a taste of some of the most popular summer fair
snacks and treats.
Take a peek, and find out if your cravings begin a little
early this year.
See you at the fair!

Cotton candy was always my favorite fair food. I could hardly wait to get into the grounds and head straight for the vendor!
ReplyDeleteI'm there...bring on the food from the fair. I'll take one of everything and 2 cotton candy please...just hope it doesn't interfere with my crochet work: http://lotsofcrochetstitches.blogspot.com/
