Please Come Home for Christmas - Merry Christmas Carol Countdown

Who’s going home for the holidays? And who’s missing someone special and wishing he or she would show up on the decorated doorstep for a Christmas surprise?

Friends and relations send salutations,
Sure as the stars shine above.
For this is Christmas,
Yes, Christmas, my dear,
It's the time of year to be with the one you love.

The Eagles flew up the contemporary music charts, several years ago, with their cover of “Please Come Home for Christmas” (“Bells Will Be Ringing”), originally recorded by Charles Brown in 1960.

The tune has joined the ever-growing list of perennial holiday favorites.

Several other popular artists have recorded cover versions of “Please Come Home for Christmas.” These include Gary Allan, Bon Jovi. Josh Gracin, Martina McBride, Willie Nelson, Lee Roy Parnell, and more.
