Danny Gokey's First Single Is Released

Danny Gokey, the soulful Milwaukee native who wowed the nation with his soulful singing as the #3 finalist in American Idol's Season 8 (2009), hit the airwaves today with his first single, "It's Only." Danny Gokey's first album is expected in stores (and online) in March 2010.


Here's a video of the radio spot (from Milwaukee's FM 106.1) - including a phone interview with Danny Gokey and his new song, "It's Only." The song, written by Lady Antebellum's Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley, has been called country, although it sounds more like crossover.
