April bloggers reflect today on the month-long marathon of A
to Z blog entries we have published.
This year, I
completed the alphabetical endeavor with six blogs.
- Heart of a Ready Writer – Bible and devotional writings
- Meme Express: Blog Prompts – blog topics and writing prompts
- Nickers and Ink: Poetry and Humor – poetry and humor
- Practically at Home – home and how-to’s
- The Mane Point: A Haven for Horse Lovers – horses and equestrian topics
- Working in Words – writing and publishing pointers
And I loved doing it!
Sure, it was a lot to do. Concepting and composing 26 posts
for six blogs equaled 158 posts in all. Matching ideas to title initials was
fun and occasionally infuriating at the same time.
Overall, it was a blast. I just wish I’d been able to visit
more participating blogs, and I hope to continue dropping in on fellow A- Z-ers
in the coming days.

What did
participating in the A to Z Blogging Challenge do for me?
For this particular blog, the month-long event inspired me
to look for super published content by fellow web writers, finding fine
features to fill my A to Z topics. By doing so, I discovered delicious recipes,
helpful how-to’s, creative crafts, great gardening ideas, fun family finds, and
much more!
I even made a few new friends after featuring folks’ work.
