Gaga for Gardening
(posted for the A to Z Challenge)
G is for Garden.
Goodness, gracious! My garden is full of gross old garbage.
It’s time to get out there and start digging. The dead perennial plant matter, autumn leaves and neighborhood debris have got to go.
Poking around a bit, I am finding spring shoots. Tulips, daffodils, hyacinths and other promising plantings are trying to push their way to sunlight.

I've done well so far in cleaning up my perennial bed. Daffodils are up, tulips have sprouted but I'm not sure any will flower this year. I have one lonely hyacinth in the bunch.
ReplyDeleteHosta fingers are popping up everywhere too. Now I need to figure out what to do about tomatoes and such.
I'm new to gardening (one year under my belt) and I'm always looking for advice and new resources. Thanks for all the links to your articles! I will be visiting them!
ReplyDeleteWhat an informative post! Lots of interesting information.
ReplyDeleteI'm gaga for gardening too. Thanks for the super resources.
ReplyDeleteMy hubby does more of the gardening than I do. I have a bit of a black thumb.
