Aretha and April Fools

Aretha and April Fools
(posted for the A to Z Challenge)

A is for April Fool’s Day

Today is April 1st, April Fool’s Day, in case you didn’t hear. Watch your step!

What is the best prank you have ever pulled? How about the most clever (or most embarrassing) hoax or practical joke you have ever endured?

Just for fun on April Fool’s Day, here’s Aretha Franklin’s classic hit, “Chain of Fools.” This oldies music video shows the Queen of Soul onstage with a star-studded trio of back-up singers: Smokey Robinson, Rod Stewart and Elton John.

  1. You know, I don't think I've ever played an April Fool's joke. Probably because I've been pranked myself and don't like being on the receiving end.

  2. Every year we tells the kids they don't have school today and they get all excited ... until they remember the date. Never gets old!

    Happy A2Z - now following!

  3. Chain chain chain...I love that song. I'm not into April Fools Day. It gets me all suspicious and paranoid. I feel like at any second an April Fools Sniper is gonna get me.
